Cauliflower Buffalo "Wings"

It's game day!
You don't need to order deep fried chicken wings covered in MSG and hydrogenated oils.
Try some veggies for once. They might be cooler than you think.
These Vegan Cauliflower Buffalo "Wings" will impress your friends, EVEN the meat lovers.
Ingredients:

  • 1 head organic cauliflower
  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup almond milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp earth balance
  • 1/2 cup Frank's Red Hot Sauce
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Wash and cut your cauliflower into bite size florets. In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, onion powder, garlic powder, almond milk, and salt. Whisk together until a thin batter is formed. Cover your cauliflower in the batter and spread on to a lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes until the batter covering the cauliflower is golden and crispy. While the cauliflower is the oven, melt the earth balance and mix with the hot sauce. Once the cauliflower is done, toss them in the hot sauce. Spread the coated cauliflower on your lined baking sheet and return it to the oven for another 15-20 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown. Enjoy!
